Cozy games that ask nothing from you

Cozy games that ask nothing from you

Not every game needs to hook you with daily missions. Some of the best ones just let you exist in them for a bit and then leave you alone.

Lantern Hollow is my current favorite in this space. It's a hand-drawn adventure with puzzles that never spike into frustration, and there's no clock counting down anything.

Big Bass Fishin fits the cozy bucket too, even though it's technically a sim. The lack of any pressure to keep playing is the point.

I've grown tired of games that punish you for taking a day off. A game should be waiting for you when you return, not scolding you.

If you're feeling burned out on louder games, try a cozy one for a week. It changes how you think about what mobile gaming can be.
