Great games you can play with one hand on the train
Some of my favorite phone games are the ones I can play while standing on a packed train, one hand busy holding on. It's a real constraint and it filters out a lot of games fast.
Big Bass Fishin is top of my list here because the whole thing is tap-and-hold. No swiping across the screen, no two-finger gestures. Star Crumb Chase works too since it's just two buttons.
Anything that needs precise dual-thumb input is out. I've tried playing shooters one-handed on a commute and it's just frustrating for everyone, including the people I bump into.
Turn-based games are secretly perfect for this. Ashen Vale lets you take your time on each move, so an interruption never costs you a run.
Bookmark the short-session games. The best commute game is one you can drop instantly when your stop arrives.
